ROYALTY TO REIGN OVER 2010 APPALACHIAN FESTIVAL

Both a children's royalty pageant and a Teen, Miss and Mrs. scholarship event brought out contestants from all over West Virginia to compete and garner the titles of the Appalachian Festival

Once the rhinestones settled, the 2010 official royalty were announced:

Appalachian Festival Queen

Trorie Atkinson

She is the daughter of Stacia & Brett Allman and SGFC Darel Atkinson of Ravenswood

Trorie will be a sophomore at Fairmont State College where she is majoring in Family & Consumer Science

She is the founder of the L.I.K.E Organization which educates about bullying and acceptance

Mrs. Appalachian

Karen Michelle Jewell of Ripley

She is a mom and grandmother with a career as a cosmetologist and esthetician

Michelle enjoys family nights, volunteering and traveling.

Appalachian Teen

Taylor Stewart of Daniels

She is the 13 year old daughter of Angela and Kevin

Taylor will be attending Shady Spring Middle School where she is in the gifted student program

Jr. Miss Appalachian

Camryn Dorsey

She is the 8 year old daughter of J.R. and Christina of Rupert

Little Miss Appalachian

Kali Branham-Colling

She is the 4 yr old daughter of Brandy of Charleston

Little Mr Appalachian

Chase Murray

He is the 4 year old son of Sean and Lee Ann of Princeton

Baby Miss Appalachian

Aubrienna Spencer

She is the 18 month old daughter of Matt and Carolyn of Wynona
